1. Oxygen sensor
The location is on the exhaust pipe, and the oxygen sensor is faulty, so that the ECU cannot know whether the amount of gasoline injected is correct, and the concentration of the mixer is either too rich or too lean, and the combustion is insufficient, reducing engine power and increasing emission pollution.
2. Wheel speed sensor
Generally installed on the hub of each wheel. Once it fails, ABS will fail.
3. Air flow meter
Generally installed in the air filter and throttle body, once a malfunction, the engine speed cannot rise.
4. Water temperature sensor
Generally, it is installed next to the thermostat. Once it fails, the engine will have difficulty starting during cold start, unstable idling operation, and insufficient power during acceleration.
5. Crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor
Generally, they are installed behind the crankshaft pulley or near the large flywheel and in front or behind the camshaft. The two complement each other, and work at the same time can provide a good guarantee for the normal operation of the engine. If one party fails, the engine will not start.
6. Accelerator pedal position sensor
Generally, it is integrated with the accelerator pedal. Once it fails, the engine can only run at idle speed.
7. Odometer sensor
It is usually installed on the gearbox, and once it fails, the odometer will not run out of words.
8. Oil pressure sensor
It is generally installed on the side cylinder of the engine. Once it fails, the oil lamp on the dashboard will not light up when the oil pressure is insufficient. Without the oil alarm, if the vehicle is really lacking in oil, it is difficult for us to know and will not add oil, which will most likely cause engine damage.
9. ABS sensor
It is usually installed next to the bearing on each wheel. Once it fails, the ABS will not work in an emergency. The wheel will lock up during emergency braking. If it encounters a slippery road, it is prone to flicking, which affects driving safety.
10. Airbag sensor
Generally installed in the front of the car (the driver’s seat), the side (the front and rear of the car) and the roof of the car, once damaged, needless to say, the airbag will not pop out in an emergency. In general, when a sensor fails, the relevant fault lights will be on. Find out the cause. When a sensor fails, you must pay attention to it. This is closely related to driving safety. After all, safety comes first.
11. Intake pressure sensor
It is usually installed next to the throttle valve. Once a fault occurs, it will cause a series of problems such as difficulty in ignition, unstable idling, and weak acceleration.
12. Throttle position sensor
Installed on the throttle body, once the failure will cause the engine to run abnormally at idle speed, the engine shakes and the acceleration response is delayed.
13. Intake air temperature sensor
It is usually installed behind the throttle. Once the mixture of the faulty engine is too rich or too lean, it will directly lead to difficulty in cold start and unstable idling after starting.
14. Knock sensor
It is generally installed on the cylinder wall of the engine. Once it fails, the engine fault light will be on and the engine will appear “self-protection phenomenon”, which will affect normal driving.
