Diesel is mixed with air in the engine, and the burned exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe. If the vehicle malfunctions and fuel combustion deteriorates, it will emit black smoke. In fact, this black smoke is soot particles that are not completely burned.
The fault points that cause the vehicle to emit black smoke are as follows.
1. Injector
2. Rail pressure sensor
3. Diesel quality
4. Water temperature sensor
5. Intake air pressure temperature sensor
6. Air flow meter
7. Supercharger
8.EGR
9. Synchronization timing
10. Insufficient air intake
11. Exhaust blockage
12. Mechanical problems (valves, pistons, etc.)
13. Computer board data problem
Case:
Basic Information
Model: Jiefangtian v
Engine: Xichai
Computer board: EDC17CV44
Trouble phenomenon: weakness, fuel consumption, black smoke
Troubleshooting:
Step 1: The driver reacted to the car’s lack of power and smoked, read the fault code, and the system was normal.
Step 2: Since there is no fault code, to judge the fault, it is necessary to select the data stream. When reading the data, it was found that the intake pressure of the car at static state was 0.87bar, and the outside atmospheric pressure was 0.98bar. The difference between the two is somewhat large. It is suspected that the intake air pressure temperature sensor is malfunctioning.
PS:When replacing parts, they must be matched and cannot be replaced at will.
